Patty accomplished a few more things today

Thanks for staying on me and cheering my progress! The box of books we were planning to donate finally went to the Huntington Woods library today, and I'm hoping to get to the pool tomorrow.

I've also made good headway on another of my to-do lists—a collection of 15+ Post-it® notes stuck on the cabinet above the computer. (Since this "list" includes helpful tasks like FILE STUFF and EXCAVATE DESK, I haven't bothered to post it here, although I will if you want me to.)

Tonight, I balanced four months' worth of statements for Jef's business checking account (not one of my favorite activities, as Jef sometimes forgets to record things and often doesn't get around to actually doing the math in his check register), and I balanced two months' worth of statements for our savings account. I'll do a little more banking stuff tomorrow. Now, though, I think I'll get some sleep...

Yeah Patty! Remember, you can also tackle those to-do lists in just 15 minute segments, FLYing style. :-) I'm going to tackle my desk that way, starting NOW.

You sound like me! I hate to deal with the bank statement, even tho' I always have some reserve. And why put a post-it note on your desk when you can't even find your desk! With me, it's yarn - when stuff I can't afford is on sale for 1/2 price, I buy it! Here in the "sunny" South, I don't think it got above freezing today (I picked 4 dandelions from my yard tho' & put 'em in a tiny pill bottle on my kitchen sill!) If the furnace quits, I could simply crawl into a box of angora yarn and hiberate 'til the vernal equinox ("Garfield" today). I try FlyLady, but I get bogged down reading (the newspaper, etc.), crocheting, knitting, working a crossword puzzle ... but I live alone! LOL!

Ugh. Joel is the same way about his business accounts. After doing it for 8 years, I told him I'd had enough, and handed it over. Of course, his business does so little business now that it's not as challenging as it was. I got tired of chasing things down.
