Two for one?

Over dinner tonight, Jef and I were talking about his hopes for next week's Detroit Free Press Marathon and whether or not he'll qualify for the Boston Marathon. (Just between us? I think he will.)

But we were also talking about you, faithful blog readers, and when Jef thinks he might be able to get back to writing his own blog. That's when he threw out a possibility: What if, once he's back in the saddle again(Aerosmith earworm alert!), he drops from blogging three days a week to twoand I continue to provide you with my two cents' worth another two days a week?

So. What if?

That would be awesome, I think that you are both brilliant writers and I would look forward to reading both of your thoughts!

Three days each and on the sabbath they rested?

I think that's a splendid idea.

And I think if he (and you) come to Boston you have to let me know. I'm not far west of there.......

I think that is a lovely idea. You both work well as a team.

That would be great. Lynne the Lurker is right - you do work well as a team.

Sounds like a great plan. You and Jef write well together.

Do it. Share the writing

I agree with the other comments. While I enjoy talking to Jef and love listening to him pontificate, I've always felt a void about you, Patty. It's been great getting to know you via your turn with the blogs and I'd love to hear more. I love your style of writing - a very nice compliment to Jef.

Amen to both of you blogging, and glad you are finding the time! Always good to have 2 perspectives! "Frazz" is one of the first things I look for when I get the paper!

Sounds like a most worthy endeavor. I seco....tenth the idea.

I look forward to the "he says, she says" of life in the cartoon bubble. Or will yours be more of the weekend running commentary sort? (Sorry, could not resist the pun.)

It's been said that Dick Francis' wife was the driver behind his best-selling mysteries. They never said it, but the stories stopped after she died. Your shared blogs give some insight into the reality of a creative household. Keep it up. Do what you will. That's kinda why we like the comic strip. garth

Patty, I've enjoyed reading your side of the story. You work on the strip together, you can blog together.

Good luck next weekend Jef. Don't over think it....just do it.
